Slotted Wall Standards

This product category involves everything that a retailer needs for the walls which surround the store. The traditional approach is to utilize metal strips commonly known as wall standards or slotted standards. If you are remodeling your store, you will need to know what standards already exist so you can match them. Often times, concealed standards (or recessed standards) are built inside drywall or slatwall and are less obvious to the shopper.

The most basic options are surfaced mounted standards which are available from Fixtures and Displays in two distinct groups. The retailer must first consider what types of products will be displayed and whether they are lighter in weight like apparel or heavier like giftware or other hard goods that will require more strength. The choices are Medium Weight with ½” slots or Heavy Duty Weight with I” slots. Each line has corresponding brackets for shelving or hangrails.
