Hard Rock Maple melamine finish adds style and class to any store interior. Panels measure 8' wide x 4' high with 3" horizontal standard slotting. Slatwalls are made of 3/4" thick medium density fiberboard (MDF).
Our panels are recommended for LIGHT DUTY use only (i.e. hooks, lightweight items on shelving, etc.). If you require HEAVY DUTY usage (ie. hangrails holding jeans or jackets) then we recommend Aluminum inserts. Aluminum inserts are the only way to increase the strength of the slatwall panel. Panels weigh about 90 pounds each. We recommend mounting the panel to wall studs using at least a 2" drywall screw spaced vertically every 8" to 12".
