Acrylic Displays

Acrylic displays are an affordable and attractive way to display soft goods, giftware and accessories for any retail application including counter tops and on the perimeter of the store.  Two basic materials are usually available:  acrylic which is crystal clear and styrene which is more affordable.  Acrylic may tend to keep it crystal clear color longer and be less sensitive to sunlight but is much more expensive.  These materials should not be confused with polycarbonate which is also clear but much stronger.  Shelf brackets are therefore made of polycarbonate.  Lexan and plexiglass are brand names of polycarbonate.

There are two methods of manufacturing acrylics.  The first is fabrication.  This involves heating the plastic and bending it into the proper shapes. Fabrication usually involves larger and more complex products like shelves, bins, risers, cubes and easels.  The other is injection molding.  This is machine-made and usually involves high volume commodity products such as shoe displays, brackets and signholders.

FixturesandDisplays.com  has access to several manufacturing facilities both domestic and foreign and will source your displays from the proper facility depending on delivery your needs.  FixturesandDisplays.com  has access to the best manufacturers of quality acrylic displays who maintain large inventories.

Acrylics, because of their clear color, help to highlight the product and not the display.
